BEGINNER WHEEL THROWING

This 8 session beginner's wheel throwing class will provide you with the fundamentals of working with clay and throwing on the wheel. Students will learn to center and throw the basic ceramic forms on the wheel, trim and glaze their work while learning good studio practices. Maximum enrollment is 8 participants. Minimum age is 18 years old.

Fee

Non-members: $225

Members: $170

 

There is a clay fee for all Beginner's classes. Please add $40 to your class fee for full sleeve of clay. If you wish to purchase a Tool Kit, please also add $17.00 to your Class Fee. Payment options and information below.The class fee must be paid in full. No refunds will be given. Fees subject to change.
Bring to class: Bring a notebook and pen, a towel or an apron and wear old clothes. You will get dirty! If you need more clay, you can purchase some at the Potters Guild. Please note that instructors will limit the number of pieces to be fired to accommodate all students.
